River Cruises & Bird Watching
On arrival please enquire about the latest tariffs and reservations at reception. A minimum of 6 persons are required for the River Cruises. The area offers an opportunity for bird watching enthusiasts to enjoy the sighting of nearly three hundred species. The river itself is host to many crocodiles and hipppos.
Fishing
Arabie Dam is 12 km from the lodge and well known for its bass and kurper fishing. The dam makes provisioning for the launching of fishing boats. Anglers can also fish from the side of the river at the lodge.
Other Activities
Both Groblersdal and Marble Hall offer various 4 x 4 routes, golf courses and hunting (including bow-hunting). The scenic Loskop Dam Nature Reserve is a mere 70 km from Kubu Kwena where a variety of game, such as buffalo, giraffe and rhino can be viewed.
